The educational exposure activity aimed to provide students with actual insights into the operations, facilities, and training environment of the institution.
During the activity, the participants were introduced to the mandate of TESDA and the implementation of Competency-Based Training (CBT) within RTC-KPVTC Davao. The students were also provided with an overview of the center’s eight (8) trade areas, with emphasis on the Computer Systems Servicing and Information Technology Department. Discussions highlighted the importance of industry-based competencies, training regulations, and TESDA’s assessment and certification processes in preparing learners for employment and industry demands.

As part of the learning visit, the students toured various training facilities, laboratories, and workshops to observe the center’s actual training environment, equipment, and learning resources. The exposure allowed the participants to gain a practical understanding of technical-vocational education and training (TVET) operations in an actual institutional setting.
The activity also strengthened collaboration and linkage between USeP and RTC-KPVTC Davao while enhancing the students’ appreciation of Competency-Based Training implementation and industry-based training practices. Through the visit, the participants gained increased awareness of TESDA programs, certifications, and opportunities available in the TVET sector.
