The dynamic partnership between TESDA RTC-KPVTC, Davao, and Villar Foundation Farm School (formerly Villar Sipag Farm School) has initiated a transformative journey in agriculture with the start of COC 2: Produce Organic Vegetables leading to Organic Agriculture Production NC II Free Skills Training at Villar Foundation Farm School, Brgy. Communal, Davao City. The training proper will span from August 8 to 19, 2023.
On August 10, 2023, trainees actively engaged in garden bed preparation, a fundamental step in organic vegetable cultivation. Guided by the principles of sustainable agriculture, trainees immersed themselves in essential practices such as seedling tray preparation and “lokong,” demonstrating their commitment to mastering the art of organic vegetable production.
With a focus on hands-on learning and holistic understanding, COC 2 training equips trainees with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the realm of organic vegetable cultivation. This training module is strategically designed to provide trainees with practical insights into soil management, seedling preparation, planting techniques, and sustainable maintenance practices, all essential components in the realm of organic agriculture.
