Strengthening the Documentation and Advocacy of TESDA XI RTC-KPVTC Davao

Affected by the rightsizing of personnel of government offices in heeding the call of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. and upon the one (1) year of observation and evaluation of the Social Marketing and Advocacy Committee (SMAC) members’ performances in year 2022, the SMAC Focal of the Center, Mr. Mario dela Cerna, called for a reorganization meeting of the KorPhil SMACkers for the year 2023. Said meeting was conducted on January 17, 2023 at the APACC office to appoint a new set of SMAC members of RTC-KorPhil Davao . This meeting aims to establish revised procedures, responsibilities, and roles among SMAC members in order to strengthen the documentation and advocacy of TESDA XI RTC-KPVTC Davao

The RTC-KPVTC SMAC is proud to announce the appointment of their new set of officers; Alanah Tamarah Millan will serve as the new Editor-in-Chief, Mary Grace Pelayo as the Associate Editor-in-Chief and Jay Mark Nuevo as the Managing Editor. The team is also supported by a team of writers, namely Loury Ann Orbeso, Ianna Marie Pioquinto, Dina T. Catantan, Jasmine Omalza, and Joie Dagohoy. On the other hand, as Jeric F. Bilita was so busy on community-based training even outside of the Region last year, he will serve as a Visiting Senior Editor.

The Center’s SMAC aims to support the center in its documentation and advocacy activities by creating awareness of their programs and services.
