| On January 23, 2023, Daikin representatives and HVAC Trainers of RTC-KPVTC Davao gathered to visit the new HVAC facilities as well as inspected the donated tools and equipment. The purpose of the meeting was to gain mutual understanding on the terms and conditions of the tools, equipment, and new facilities of TESDA-Daikin HVAC Training Center. Further, the meeting aimed to discuss the dry run before the inauguration day of the facility. |
| The event was attended by Engr. Cynder L. Villas, Assistant Manager, and personnel of Daikin joined by the Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) Davao’s Center Administrator, Engr. Constantino B. Panes Jr., Mr. Gil D. Gonzales, Supervising TESD Specialist, Mr. Eugene R. Valdez, DHVACT Head Trainer, and Ms. Gladies Mae G. Bactong, DHVACT Junior Trainer. |
| This training program is aligned with Daikin and TESDA partnership which aims to improve the skills of individuals in the industry and community and provide employment opportunities. The facility has training areas for commercial air-conditioning, a lecture room, storage room, office area, and conference room, which will help RTC-KorPhil Davao prepare for the offering of the Commercial Air-Conditioning Installation and Servicing NC III. |
