Scholars from these programs were oriented on training expectations, competencies to be achieved, and the policies they must adhere to throughout the duration of the course.
The activity was led by Mr. Joie Vincent R. Dagohoy, Scholarship Focal of RTC-KPVTC Davao, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Training for Work Scholarship Program. He emphasized the benefits available to scholars, including free skills training, free national competency assessment, and a daily Training Support Fund amounting to Php 160.00. He also highlighted the importance of commitment, discipline, and active participation to successfully complete the program.
In addition, scholars were oriented on attendance monitoring through the Biometric-based Recording System (BSRS), stressing that proper knowledge and compliance with the system are crucial to avoid being dropped from the scholarship.
The Training Induction Program serves as a vital step in ensuring that scholars are well-informed, motivated, and guided as they begin their journey toward skills development and employment readiness. RTC-KPVTC Davao remains committed to delivering quality technical education and training that empowers individuals and supports workforce development in the region.
