TESDA XI RTC-KPVTC, Davao together with GMA Regional TV Davao’s “Kapuso Barangayan” Activity Brings Kapuso Serbisyo to Davao City Barangays

GMA Regional TV Davao, in partnership with TESDA KorPhil Davao and renowned trainer Mr. Mikko D. Rosell, recently conducted a series of impactful activities under the banner of “Kapuso Barangayan” in Brgy. Matina Aplaya Gym, Davao City. The primary objective of this initiative was to provide Kapuso serbisyo (GMA Network’s brand of public service) to various barangays in the city. One particular event that garnered attention was a livelihood training program focused on meat processing, specifically Tocino Making, which saw enthusiastic participation from residents of Matina Aplaya.

The Kapuso Barangayan activity in Davao City embodies GMA Network’s commitment to uplifting local communities and making a positive impact on people’s lives. Through the collaboration with TESDA XI – RTC KPVTC Davao and the expertise of trainer Mr. Mikko D. Rosell, participants were given a valuable opportunity to enhance their skills and acquire knowledge in meat processing.

The livelihood training program in meat processing organized by GMA Regional TV Davao and its partners was specifically designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to start their own meat processing businesses or enhance existing ones. Mr. Mikko D. Rosell, a respected trainer in the field, shared his expertise and guided the participants through various aspects of meat processing, including hygiene and sanitation practices, meat cutting techniques, product development, and packaging.

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority’s representation by RTC-KPVTC Davao played a crucial role in ensuring the success of the Kapuso Barangayan activity. TESDA KorPhil’s expertise and resources in vocational training complemented GMA Regional TV Davao’s commitment to community development, creating a synergistic partnership that maximized the impact of the initiative.
