TESDA Holds Successful Capability Building Program for Prospective Provincial Lead Assessors in Food Processing NC II

The Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center in Davao hosted a two-day Capability Building Program for Prospective Provincial Lead Assessors in Food Processing NC II on February 9-10, 2023. The program was aimed to provide additional assessors for the Food Processing NC II.

Ten (10) participants from different training centers attended the program where they underwent an orientation on the first day. On the second day, they were assessed to become a Provincial Lead Assessor (PLA) for Food Processing NC II.

The participants who successfully passed the assessment will receive a certificate as a Provincial Lead Assessor in Food Processing NC II. They will also be included in the pool of assessors who can conduct assessments for the said qualification in their respective provinces

The participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the program. They also commended the organizers for providing them with the necessary training and assessment to become a Provincial Lead Assessor. “This program has equipped us with the knowledge and skills to assess our trainees properly. We are excited to share what we have learned with our colleagues and improve the quality of training in our region,” one participant shared.

The Capability Building Program for Prospective Provincial Lead Assessors in Food Processing NC II is just one of the many initiatives of TESDA to improve the quality of technical vocational education and training in the country.

The Capability Building Program for Prospective Provincial Lead Assessors in Food Processing NC II held at the Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center in Davao was a success. Ten participants from different training centers in Region XI were assessed to become a Provincial Lead Assessor in Food Processing NC II. The program aimed to provide additional assessors for the said qualification to ensure the quality of assessment in the country. With more qualified and competent assessors, the quality of technical vocational education and training in the region is expected to improve.
