The release covered the first tranche TSF of the multiple batches under the Diploma Programs – including Diploma in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Technology (DABET), Diploma Automotive Technology (DAT), Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (DCET), Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Technology (DHRT), Diploma in Heating, Ventilating, Airconditioning/Refrigeration Technology (DHVACT), Diploma in Industrial Automation and Mechatronics Technology (DIAMT), Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology (DMET) specializing in Machining and in Welding – as well as scholars from Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I , who received their corresponding tranches and full Training Support Fund allocations.
The distribution was facilitated by Ms. Yvonne Louise Micabalo and Mr. Adrian Luna of the TESDA Davao City District Office, with Mr. Joie Vincent Dagohoy, Scholarship Focal of RTC-KPVTC Davao assisting in the verification and orderly release of checks. The activity was conducted under the guidance of Regional Director and Concurrent District Director Tarhata S. Mapandi, CESO III, ensuring strict adherence to TESDA financial procedures and beneficiary verification protocols.
Scholars were advised to present valid identification cards upon claiming their checks, while authorized representatives were required to submit a notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) alongside valid IDs and specimen signatures. TESDA again reminded beneficiaries that checks unclaimed beyond 180 days from the date of issuance would be rendered stale and non-negotiable.
The successful release demonstrates TESDA’s continued commitment to strengthening technical-vocational education and supporting the welfare of its scholars across Davao City and the region – indeed #DabaWOW!
