The Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC), Davao welcomed 45 personnel from the Provincial Office (PO) – Agusan del Sur (ADS), Provincial Training Center (PTC) – ADS, and Agusan del Sur School of Arts and Trades of the CARAGA Region for a benchmarking activity on March 26, 2025.
The visit aimed to observe and adopt best practices in RTC-KPVTC, Davao’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) delivery and training center management. The event commenced with a brief program at the RTC-KPVTC, Davao mini-theater, where Officer-in-Charge Eugene R. Valdez delivered an opening message.
Following the program, the delegation toured the center’s various training areas to gain insights into its operational strategies. After the center tour, all 45 personnel proceeded to other operating units of TESDA Region XI to further explore training methodologies and administrative practices.
This initiative fosters collaboration between training institutions and strengthens TVET education by sharing industry-aligned strategies for effective skills development.
