The participants included students from the 2nd Year 1st Semester, 3rd Year 1st Semester, and 3rd Year 2nd Semester of the Diploma Program. The TIP aimed to re-orient the scholars about their duties, responsibilities, and benefits under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA) scholarship.
Present during the activity were RTC-KPVTC Davao Scholarship Focal Mr. Joie Vincent R. Dagohoy and Supervising TESD Specialist Engr. Efren T. Ojeda. The TESDA Davao City District Office (DCDO), led by District Director Novielita A. Dispo, was represented by Scholarship Staff Mr. Bon Angelo Renos and Ms. Kc Jean Llanera.

Under the scholarship guidelines, trainees are required to maintain at least 80% attendance throughout the 100-day semester, which runs from September 18, 2025 to January 22, 2026. To be promoted to the next semester, scholars must attain a general average of 80%, with no grade lower than 75% in any subject.
The UAQTEA scholarship also provides significant benefits to support the learning needs of the trainees. These include free skills training, free national competency assessments, a Training Support Fund of Php 9,000 per semester, a uniform allowance of Php 500, and a book/learning material allowance of Php 5,000.
Through the Training Induction Program, RTC-KPVTC Davao reaffirmed its commitment to empowering scholars with quality technical education and ensuring they maximize the opportunities granted by the government.
