RTC-KorPhil Profiled Learners for OAP NC II Free Training at Villar Sipag Farm School, Davao

In order to ensure appropriate training program is delivered to communities, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) RTC-KorPhil, Davao and Villar Sipag Farm School, Davao profiled learners for OAP NC II Free Training on Monday, July 1, 2023, at Villar Sipag Farm School, Davao.

This free training will focus on two training programs which are Produce Organic Vegetables (COC2) and Produce Organic Concoctions and Extracts (COC4) leading to Organic Agriculture Production (OAP) NC II). In this training, participants will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to become organic vegetable growers and producers of organic concoctions and extracts which are foliar fertilizers. Trainers for these training programs are RTC-KorPhil trainers namely, Ms. Mary Grace A. Pelayo and Engr. Ailyn R. Tejero.

TESDA RTC-KorPhil, Davao and Villar Sipag Farm School, Davao had been partners towards giving quality training to citizens who aspire to become organic farmers and those who want to further advance their skills in organic farming. This profiling of participants is a step towards ensuring that training outcomes are successfully conducted to the participants.

Profiling of participants for TESDA free training assists in understanding the demographics, needs, and preferences of learners. This relevant information ensures training providers to design appropriate interventions and initiatives that are tailored to the specific needs and requirements of communities. Also, profiling helps foster community participation and engagement as learners feel that their specific needs and circumstances are understood and addressed by their training providers. Lastly, profiling is also needed for proper records keeping and reporting of training. As such, profiling is crucial for pre-implementation phases in training deliveries especially for TESDA programs.
