RTC-KorPhil Davao hurdles regional validation of Seal of Integrity for Assessment Centers

In line with the 2022 Seal of Integrity Award application, the Regional Training Center – Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) Davao welcomed a team of evaluators for the on-site visit and regional validation of documents last June 13, 2022.

Present during the event were the members of the Regional Review Committee (RRC) headed by TESDA XI Regional Director Lorenzo G. Macapili, DTE together with the Regional Secretariat, and the Assessment Center (AC) Quality Team.

During the on-site visit, the RRC thoroughly evaluated the accomplished self-evaluation instrument and the supporting documents to determine the lacking documents that must be completed and any non-conformities that must be addressed.

The TESDA Seal of Integrity is an institution-based award granted to Accredited Assessment Centers that have consistently adhered to TESDA operating procedures and quality management principles in the conduct of assessments delegated by TESDA.

The TESDA Seal of Integrity for Assessment Centers is anchored on the ASEAN Guiding Principles for Quality Assurance of Competency Assessment and Certification System and is aligned with the requirements of the ISO 17024 Standard for Certification of Persons.           Furthermore, a deliberation will be conducted by the RRC on the AC’s organizational performance based on the conduct of assessment before they will approve and endorse an AC-applicant for the TESDA Seal of Integrity to the National Board of Judges.
