RTC KorPhil Davao Conducts Training Induction Program for Community-based Training in Plumbing NC II at 52nd Engineer Brigade

The RTC KorPhil, Davao took a significant step towards empowering members of the Philippine Army’s 534th Engineer Construction Battalion and 52nd Engineer Brigade with valuable skills by conducting a Training Induction Program (TIP) for Community-based Training in Plumbing NC II. The event, held on July 11, 2023, at the 52nd Engineer Brigade, New Visayas, Santo Tomas, Davao Del Norte, marked the beginning of a transformative journey for the participants in Plumbing NC II.

The TIP aimed to orient trainees on their goal of enhancing their capabilities through a comprehensive training program in Plumbing NC II. As an essential trade skill, plumbing plays a vital role in disaster response and community development. By equipping the Philippine Army personnel with these valuable skills, RTC KorPhil Davao sought to strengthen their capacity to support and serve the community, especially during times of need.

Esteemed dignitaries and key personnel from both RTC KorPhil Davao and the Philippine Army graced the event with their presence, emphasizing the importance of this joint effort. Among the distinguished guests were Engr. Constantino B. Panes Jr., Ed.D., Center Administrator of RTC-KorPhil, Davao, Ms. Maribel B. Tero, DCET Head Trainer, Mr. Edison C. Tasic, Plumbing NC II Trainer, Mr. Nelson Z. Embat, Trainer, 1LT Felbert A. Diaz, and 1LT Jesse Roy A. Lacayanga.

The Training Induction Program not only marked the beginning of a valuable training course but also fostered camaraderie and cooperation between RTC KorPhil Davao and the Philippine Army’s 534th Engineer Construction Battalion and 52nd Engineer Brigade. It represented a shared commitment to community development, disaster response, and skill enhancement for the benefit of all.

With the induction program now successfully completed, the participants are set to undergo an intensive and specialized training course in Plumbing NC II. Through this joint effort, RTC KorPhil Davao and the Philippine Army aim to build a more resilient and skilled workforce capable of making a positive impact on the communities they serve.
