The Regional Training Center-Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center, Davao spearheaded the distribution of starter toolkits to twenty-five (25) scholarship beneficiaries in Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing NC II under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) on February 11, 2022 at Brgy. Sumimao, Paquibato District.
Together with Congressman Vincent Garcia and Councilor Javi Garcia Campos, the distribution of starter toolkits signifies the government’s continued thrust of elevating the lives of Filipino citizens through provisions of not only skills training but also of livelihood opportunities.
With the help of these starter toolkits, beneficiaries are expected to utilize these to create livelihood opportunities and generate income with an emphasis on poverty alleviation.
