Conduct of Inspection for Assessment Center (AC) and UTPRAS Re-Registration and MCC Program Registration at RTC-KPVTC, Davao

On June 30, 2026, the TESDA Davao City District Office (DCDO) conducted a total of seventeen (17) inspections at the Regional Training Center-Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC), Davao: ten (10) Assessment Center (AC) inspections for re-registration, six (6) inspections for the UTPRAS registration of Micro-Credential Courses (MCCs), and one (1) inspection for the UTPRAS re-registration of a program delivered through Institution-Based Training (IBT).

The Assessment Center inspections validated the compliance of the ten (10) ACs with TESDA requirements for re-registration, including the availability and condition of assessment tools and equipment, the suitability of assessment venues, and the completeness of required documentation for the conduct of competency assessment.

Meanwhile, the UTPRAS inspections verified the compliance of the programs with the minimum requirements of the applicable Training Regulations and Competency Standards, covering curricular offerings, trainer qualifications, tools and equipment, training facilities, and institutional documents. The six (6) Micro-Credential Courses were inspected for new registration in accordance with TESDA Circular No. 077, series of 2024, while the IBT program, Heavy Equipment Operation (Forklift) NC II, was inspected for re-registration.

The activity covered the following at RTC-KPVTC, Davao: (a) ten (10) Assessment Centers for re-registration – Barista, Web Development NC III, Food and Beverage Services NC III, Food and Beverage Services NC IV, Agricultural Crops Production NC I, 2D Animation NC III, Computer Systems Servicing NC II, PES NC IV, and Reinforcing Steel Works NC II; (b) six (6) Micro-Credential Courses (MCCs) for UTPRAS registration – Prepare and Present Basic Pastry Products leading to Food Production (Bread and Patisserie) NC II, Preparing and Serving Coffee Beverages leading to Barista NC II, Develop Designs for Logo and Print Media leading to Visual Graphic Design NC III, Service Single-Pass Rice Milling Machinery (Basic) Level I, VRV System Installation Level III, and Event Planning Services leading to Events Management Services NC III; and (c) one (1) UTPRAS-registered program delivered through Institution-Based Training (IBT) for re-registration – Heavy Equipment Operation (Forklift) NC II.
