54 SHS Teachers Graduate from TESDA’s TM Level I Program at RTC-KPVTC, Davao

In a significant stride toward strengthening technical-vocational education in schools, 54 Senior High School (SHS) teachers from across the region officially graduated from the Trainers Methodology Level I / Certificate of Competency 2 (TM Level I/COC 2) program during a ceremony held on July 16, 2025, at the RTC-KPVTC, Davao, Multipurpose Hall, Davao City. The event was led by the Regional Training Center – Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC), Davao and graced by TESDA XI Regional Director Ramon Evan A. Ruiz.

The TM Level I/COC 2 program, facilitated by RTC-KPVTC, Davao, is part of TESDA’s efforts to professionalize the ranks of SHS educators, particularly those handling the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track. With the training calendar concluding earlier this year, the program ensured that these teachers were equipped with critical skills in instruction, assessment, and competency-based learning delivery.

More than just certificates, the completion of this program symbolizes TESDA and DepEd’s shared commitment to producing educators capable of shaping a job-ready future workforce. By capacitating SHS teachers with nationally recognized credentials, the initiative not only raises the standard of TVET instruction but also reinforces the country’s workforce development goals.

As the graduates move forward in their roles, this milestone serves as a powerful reminder that quality education begins with quality educators — those who choose to grow, to lead, and to make a lasting impact on future generations.
