A total of 24 scholars under the Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program (TTSP) officially began their training journey in Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II during the Training Induction Program (TIP) on July 25, 2025, online via Zoom.
The orientation was led by Mr. Joie Vincent R. Dagohoy, the Scholarship Focal of RTC-KPVTC Davao, and held under the guidance of TESDA Davao City District Office Director Novielita A. Dispo. It served to formally welcome the scholars and prepare them for the training period ahead.
Mr. Dagohoy provided a comprehensive introduction to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the background and services of RTC-KPVTC Davao, as well as a detailed discussion on the benefits and responsibilities of TTSP scholars. He also emphasized the use of the Biometric-enabled Scholarship Registration System (BSRS) for accurate and secure attendance monitoring.
The EIM NC II training, to be facilitated by Mr. Dwight S. Silagan, is scheduled from July 25 to September 9, 2025, and will be held Mondays to Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Under this scholarship, scholars will receive benefits such as free skills training, free national competency assessment, and training support fund of Php 160.00/day. Through programs like TTSP, TESDA continues to provide opportunities for Filipinos to gain industry-relevant skills, empowering them for gainful employment and contributing to the country’s workforce development.
