Seventy-four (74) trainees of the Regional Training Center – Korea-Philippines Vocational Training Center (RTC-KPVTC) Davao received their Training Support Fund (TSF) allowance on August 27, 2025.

The release of the TSF was facilitated by the TESDA Davao City District Office (DCDO), headed by District Director Novielita A. Dispo, in coordination with RTC-KPVTC Davao through its Scholarship Focal, Mr. Joie Vincent R. Dagohoy. This financial assistance is designed to help trainees sustain both their academic and practical training requirements throughout their programs.
The breakdown of the 74 beneficiaries is as follows:
- 15 trainees – 3rd Year, 1st Semester, Diploma of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Technology (DABET)
- 18 trainees – 3rd Year, 1st Semester, Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)
- 21 trainees – 1st Year, 2nd Semester, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology specializing in Machining (DMET-M)
- 20 trainees – Rice Machinery Operations (RMO) NC II in Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte
The diploma program trainees received their financial support under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA), while the RMO NC II scholars were supported through the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP). The TSF serves as a vital aid to cover essential training-related expenses such as transportation, food, and other daily needs, helping scholars focus on completing their training without undue financial burden.
