An exulting news of 100% passing rate of the TM 1 candidates during their assessment last August 13 – 16, 2022 rang to the excited ears of DepEd Region XI officials and to the TM 1 Team of RTC-KorPhil Davao who trained the selected DepEd teachers from Davao Region.
The TM 1 training requested by DepEd XI Regional Office to be facilitated by the RTC-KorPhil Davao’s TM 1 team dubbed as Trainers Methodology 1 (TM1) Training and Assessment for SHS TVL Teachers of Region XI started on July 11, 2022 and culminated on August 10, 2022. The said training was done through a Flexible Learning Delivery (FLD) mode. The opening program was conducted in Ritz Hotel where the DepEd Regional Director, Dr. Allan G. Farnazo, CESO IV graced the training with Dr. Maria Ines C. Asuncio, CESO V (Asst. Regional Director), Dr. Leila P. Areola (Director V, Bureau of Learning Delivery), Dr. Rosalina J. Villaneza (Chief Teaching & Learning Division), Mary Jeanne B. Aldeguer, Ed.D. (Chief Education Program Supervisor-CLMD) and Pedelina O. Huevos (Education Program Supervisor-CLMD) overseeing the training for the participants and accommodating the Center’s TM 1 team headed by Ms. Marilou Coloma, MVE. On the part of TESDA, in lieu of Engr. Lorenzo G. Macapili, DTE (TESDA XI Regional Director), Engr. Constantino B. Panes, Jr. Ed.D. (RTC-KorPhil Davao Center Administrator) expressed the openness of TESDA in collaborating with DepEd in empowering SHS TVL Teachers to heighten their capabilities in teaching Tech-Voc in their respective Senior High School institutions making their graduates more prepared in enrolling in TESDA especially in the 3-Year Diploma courses.

The arrangement of this TM 1 FLD training was; July 11-20 Face-t-Face, July 21 to August 2, 2022 online (asynchronous with Center’s online LMS and synchronous for Zoom/Google Meet sessions), on August 3-12 back to Face-to-Face (at Ritz Hotel).
